the DuoX quick start pamphlet mentions the ability to use a standard analog expression pedal in the CV input on the DuoX – is this actually functional now, or still awaiting the software update which brings general CV compatibility?

This is coming in v1.9
we will have a test build soon, but I am not sure if expression pedal will be there from the start

Would it be possible to use the 2nd input of the Dwarf for analog expression pedal and convert/route the signal to a wah plugin?

The circuitry required for that is completely different, so that would not be possible.
Let me also ask you to create a new thread for this questions, since as you can see on the title of this one it is related with the MOD DuoX and not the MOD Dwarf.
