Since obtaining a Master’s Degree in Music, the Montreal-based JMPayeur | Zenpoolzone, has collaborated in the creation of works of contemporary music for electric guitar, participated in various projects from performer-actor in a dance and theater context to sound designing for art gallery exhibits.

He also explores the guitar sonic experience with the use of new technologies and a particular interest in architecture. This unusual approach filter throughout his entire production and is reflected in his most recent album My Industrial Steel Lung.

On stage, this innovative approach translates into the integration of the guitar as the main element in his Techno-Prog performance where his instrument’s playing reproduces breaks, drops, risers and other effects associated to the EDM and Electronic music scene.
