I started playing bass in 2000. Recorded on a NYHC / crossover album in 2002. Played plenty of shows around Long Island. Booked some. Promoted. Ran sound with In The Pit Productions and others. Took some breaks from the breakdowns.

I got into GNU+Linux in 2004 with Fedora Core. Distro hopped. Built Gentoo. Tinkered with hardware. Now I’m on Ubuntu Studio and Fedora Jam or Design Suite. Will find a machine to try out AV Linux when the next version with Enlightenment DE is available.

Spent plenty of times on various forums. I miss how the web used to be and how society was before all the data harvesting and surveillance and sheer craziness of people.

These last few years I’ve been getting back into music. Been learning more about the musicianship side of things with maintenance, setup, all the hardware of instruments, amps, effects, et. al. I’ve been learning scales, practicing more, and revisioning songs by my old bands to re-record. I’ve been writing and recording new material.

A while back I found the Dwarf but, I’ve either not had the money or it hasn’t been available. Hoping to get one in a few weeks or maybe build my own‽

I’m so glad to see a product like this. This is what the world needs.
