Regarding the second issue, keep in mind that is only a cosmetic tiny glitch that doesn’t affect usage at all.
But, if you had the time to look at it, would you mind also check the amount of time that a listed element is shown when you rotate the encoder to select a parameter organized ad list? Changing such a parameter in the regular window seems easier than in your new Plugin window, because the list appears for a longer interval of time.
Hello. It seems that the Midi is not working. I’m using the Morning Star MC6 Pro via USB. It worked with the official Dwarf image. Thanks for your work
The problem is not the timeout, but a different behaviour from the standard list handling and what I’ve implemented in the plugin edit page: the list is dismissed every tick of the encoder.
Sorry for the dummy question…did you post the image somewhere to download? Or have you updated some link? Just want to make sure that I run the latest version before reporting/trying anything else.
I must confirm this assumption. I can understand that when I see the “MOD Labs” on the plugin store. That was a deprecated project that was always in the code, but (I believe that was what was happening) before any official release, it was always being “commented out” or something like that.
I didn’t report this to you @AndreaDelSignore, because I’m not really sure how much you can “fix” that.
@gianfranco Thanks! This is just my way of giving back to the community. When I first got the Dwarf, I immediately saw its huge potential, even if some parts weren’t quite production-ready yet.
I really appreciate all your work, and I think the Dwarf is a fantastic piece of gear.
I guess that’s exactly that.
Not that I’m super on top of those details, but I think before publishing (from the official images) there’s always a little “clean-up” of some things.
Anyway, I don’t think that’s something you need to worry much
Yesterday I noticed too the different filter on the plug-in page (it seems that doesn’t work very well by the way), but I want to ask if the store is supposed to work with custom images or not; now is not working, but I don’t know if is blocked by design for security reasons.
If this is the case, it’s no big deal for me: I’ll just reflash the official build to buy a plugin and then reflash the Starless image, but for some people that could be a deal breaking.
I’ve now had the chance to update my Mod Dwarf and am really impressed with this so far! So good to have on-device editing.
I’d like to try performance mode on an Android tablet connecting over USB but looking at other threads I get the impression that this doesn’t currently work - is that right? If so presumably the only option is is Bluetooth (if only I could find that dongle!)?
Did you try mod-ui hotfix-1.13 branch? I think each firmware uses the same number hotfix for mod-ui and mod-host. Mod-desktop probably uses master branch.
But then some new functionalities like drag&drop plugins are lost…. Perhaps it could be better plugin-store branch?
Andrea, you’re right, the latest official release we can download has that layout.
But I’m sure that the one that was fetched OTG was different: the ability to visualize beta plugin was a filter similar to “Ïnstalled only” and was something like “Include beta plugins”.
